Open Access Policy
International Journal of Teaching and Learning is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
In this regard, the only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
In respect of the BOAI definition, the International Journal of Teaching and Learning's governing body strongly recommends, for the authors who would like to republish a work that has been previously published in our journal, to include an acknowledgment with the mention of its first publication of the scientific paper, in the further publication.
