  • Proceedings of the World Conference on Children and Youth
    Vol. 2 No. 01 (2020)

    The 2nd World Conference on Children and Youth (CCY 2020) was successfully held on 23th -24th July 2020 as an online Conference with over 25 participants representing 15 countries. It was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) under the theme “Preparing Children and Youth to Face Emerging Challenges in the 21st Century”.

    This conference was devoted to an exploration of how children and youth can be prepared to face the emerging challenges through multi-pronged action on the part of a range of stakeholders such as governments, educational institutions, media, civil society, international agencies, scientific bodies and others. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Siri Hettige – Emeritus Professor of Sociology, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

    This issue includes peer-reviewed papers presented at the CCY 2020.

    The 4th World Conference on Children and Youth 2022 (CCY 2022) was held from 07th – 08th July 2022 in the Virtual Platform under the theme "The Pandemic, Climate Change and Adaptation to a world in transition: Challenges for Children and Youth". CCY 2022 was designed with the purpose of serving the educational and social policy environment for Child Development and Youth Empowerment. The Conference connected researchers, academicians, activists, practitioners, and policymakers around the world to a single platform to interact with each other and share knowledge for the betterment of Children and Youth.

    This issue contains the full papers of authors who published in Conference Proceedings of CCY 2022.

  • The World Conference on Child and Youth 2019 – (CCY 2019)

    The World Conference on Child and Youth 2019 – (CCY 2019) was organized for the first time by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Department of Professional Development and Continuing Education, Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (Hosting Partner), Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research (NCCR), Nepal (academic partner) and Foundation for Innovative Social Development, Sri Lanka (strategic partner). The conference was held from 04th– 05th July in Colombo, Sri Lanka under the theme “Well-being and Life Chances of Children and Youth in an Interconnected World: A Life Course Approach”. The conference addressed challenges faced by Children and Youth and was a platform to facilitate the spread of knowledge and a greater understanding of the opportunities for improved developmental outcomes and collaboration among providers, researchers, and policymakers.
