International Journal of Teaching and Learning IJTL is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes two issues per year with research articles from all sectors of education internationally. The journal is a platform for scholars around the world to share their research and to establish international collaborations.
This journal publishes empirical research conducted in formal and informal educational contexts, including controlled and natural settings, from all subfields of education. The journal does not publish review articles or book reviews. The international scope of the journal promotes the diversity of education globally and aims to stimulate collaborations among international scholars.
IJTL invites original research from all areas and all levels of education, broadly defined. IJTL does not publish review articles or book reviews.

Editorial/ Review Standards
Manuscripts that fall within the scope of IJTL will be subjected to double-blind reviews from at least two reviewers. A panel of Consulting Editors will be assembled who will conduct the preponderance of the reviews. Other education professionals may be called upon as needed to supplement the expertise of the Consulting Editors. The Editor-in-Chief will be responsible for all publication decisions.
Reviewers will be instructed to evaluate the methodological strengths and weaknesses of the study, as well as comment on whether the evidence supports the conclusions stated by the authors.
IJTL anticipates delivering an initial decision to authors within 6-8 weeks after submission. After a manuscript is accepted, IJTL anticipates publication within 4-6 months (due to the semi-annual publication cycle).
